Apple iPhone 2020

You might be aware that the latest iPhones have already been released which are the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro series devices. However, we are already getting reports regarding Apple’s plans for the future which is in terms of the company’s plans for 2020 and further. While we know that big changes are said t0 be in store for the 2020 iPhone, we now have a report which reveals that four new iPhones will be seen next year. Also, it is revealed that a base 5.4-inch iPhone will be coming next year that will have an OLED display while the biggest iPhone will have a 6.7-inch OLED panel.

On the other hand, this report by TheNextWeb re-iterates that there will be an iPhone SE 2 next year which will have a 4.7-inch display same as the iPhone 8 and will start at just $399. All the new smartphones, apart from the iPhone SE 2, are also said to getting 5G support next year. Also, the same report goes on to mention that the iPhones in 2021 might not have a lightning port at all. If you would have assumed that no lightning port means that a USB Type-C port will be there then that is not the case. Because Ming Chi-Kuo predicts that iPhones in 2021 will have no ports at all. The charging and data transfer on the iPhones will be done wirelessly and Apple will develop solutions for the same.

Now, we know that predicting an iPhone without ports in 2 years time is ambitious but we know that Ming Chi-Kuo’s predictions have been on point thus far. So there is a high chance that he might be true once again. Having said that, we might see a product such as Apple AirPower which failed to come into existence which might hinder Apple’s plans for going fully wireless and the plans for a port-less iPhone in 2021 might not come true as expected.
